I didn’t know it back then, but selling Girl Scout cookies was my first sales job. I went on to build a successful career in sales and marketing, and I am sure those early experiences helped set me on this course.

I have fond memories of weekend camping trips with my troop mates. Camping wasn’t something my family did, so I would not have otherwise had the chance. I'm thankful for these experiences as I love the outdoors, hiking and camping to this day.

Girl Scouting today is even better than when I was young. With the focus on girl-led activities and programs, opportunities for learning, leadership development and community service, Girl Scouts is building the business and community leaders of tomorrow. I want more G.I.R.Ls (Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-takers, Leaders) coming up to help change the world for the better.

I am a Daisy’s Circle member because I want every single girl in Colorado to have the opportunity to participate in Girl Scouts, no matter what her social, economic, family circumstances or location in our state. It’s an investment in our future that I know has a fantastic ROI.
